Professional Live-in Nanny – Abu Dhabi City Position: Full-time Live-in Nanny Location: Abu Dhabi City Start Date: As soon as possible Salary: AED 2,500–3,000 per month, based on experience Accommodation: Private room and private bathroom Day Off: Saturday or Sunday Visa: Visa and employment contract provided Family We are a professional friendly family with two young children: - 3.5-year-old boy – attends nursery - 1-year-old girl – at home during the day - One friendly family dog Excellent communication in english mandatory. 1-year-old will be the nanny's primary responsibility while the older child is at nursery. The nanny will care for both children when the older child is home. Role We are seeking an experienced, development-focused nanny with genuine baby and toddler childcare experience. This is not a general housemaid position. Candidates whose experience is primarily housekeeping with occasional childcare will not be suitable. We are looking for someone who understands toddler routines, development, play, communication and behaviour and can independently manage the children's needs. Key Responsibilities - Provide attentive and safe care for both children - Independently manage their daily routines - Support potty training for the 3.5-year-old - Read and actively engage the children with age-appropriate storybooks - Organise active, educational and development-focused play - Engage and communicate with the children throughout the day - Prepare children's meals according to their schedule - Complete weekly food preparation for the children - Maintain children's immediate areas, toys and childcare-related items - Work proactively without requiring constant instructions - Be comfortable interacting and playing with the family's dog No family cooking is required. There is no night duty. Once the children have completed their bedtime routine and are asleep, normally by approximately 8:30 PM, the nanny is off duty. Essential Requirements - Excellent spoken and written English with strong communication skills - Demonstrated professional nanny experience with babies and toddlers - compulsory: Previous hands-on experience with toddler potty training - Confident reading children's storybooks in English - Comfortable planning and participating in active play - Proactive, responsible and able to work independently - Comfortable with dogs - Verifiable references from previous employers are mandatory - Available to start as soon as possible Preference: Filipina candidates preferred.
